I was so lucky to meet Katie and Kyle, who usually kick it on the West Coast, while they were in New York City to celebrate the New Year. Recently engaged, they wanted to grab some cool shots for potential Save the Dates in iconic NYC Spots. From the Brooklyn Bridge to Grand Central and Central Park, this cute coupe oozed affection for each other. I also loved that they brought so many different looks, so they could show their swanky side and keep it casual. That’s being prepared for a photoshoot!
Although these heels and pencil skirt were killer, they were killer to walk in too. Thankfully Katie found a great guy in Kyle, who literally carried her across the Brooklyn Bridge when she couldn’t walk any more.
Katie was particularly inspired by some of my other Subway portraits, especially those from Zach and Maggie’s Sweetheart Session as well as Jess and Alex on their wedding day.
Who knew rush hour could look so fabulous?
Even though there wasn’t much in bloom, I loved this one spring of flowers to throw in a pop of color!
This spot in Central Park is my favorite spot to get NYC’s skyline, which was a great spot to end our day. And thank goodness they didn’t want to do any in Times Square!
