As I wrap up the year, it’s fun to look back at one of the first weddings I ever shot, when I was an assistant at Nadra Photography in Southern Maine. Kate and Josh will forever be one of the whackier weddings I’ve ever photographed, but what else can you expect when two lumberjacks tie the knot? I sure wasn’t expecting hundreds of wedding cake toppers, wood shavings thrown instead of rice and cutting the cake with an axe!
